“Mussel” is the first time I have ever seen painted art on silk.  But it just looks like a beautiful piece of canvas work, but when you get closer the beauty of the silk really brings the piece out, it fully takes on the pearlescent look of a mussel.

Varied and rich exhibition.  Glint was superbly executed!

 

My favourite is Rockpool with all the swirling colours, beads and shells.  I love the beach too.  So I love all of the art.

 

An absolute delightful glimpse into the ocean your mind and world of fantastic colour.

'Where art meets the audience' – well I was the audience and the art on display will cause conversation on many levels – my own art skill is but I know when I see a picture I would put on my walls.  A x

 

Interesting work.  Very evocative.  Not being an artist, I don’t fully understanding the concept as outlined in the legend!  But the work is excellent.  D

Really enjoyable pieces.  I thoroughly liked looking at the seashell paintings and the multicolour swirls.  Always a pleasure coming to The Customs House and seeing what’s on offer.  K

Amazing work!  I’m reading “The Artist’s Way” by Julian Cameron at the moment and I’m trying to take myself on “artist dates” (basically walks and visiting galleries!) and I’m hoping it helps me get back on track? I really love the texture of your work, your “Skin” piece is so incredibly captivating as is “Liquid” – your skills are so beautiful in that respect!

The mark-making on “Below” (I think it’s Below or Glint ha ha!) is so life-like, how you got it to look like a reef at the bottom of the ocean is SO INSPIRING!!

Your armatures on 16-20 are gorgeous too!
